I think perhaps I will not leave my house. Perhaps this will be incentive to finish unpacking my bedroom and finish the draft of the next part of the essay.

I've ventured out, and there's more snow than the Blizzard of 09. We've got about 24-30" depending on where you measure, it's over my knees in the back yard, and it's heavy dense snow this time. AND STILL SNOWING.

I'm hoping for a snow day Monday.

I don't know why this is so exciting. Well, yes I do. I've lived away from Michigan for eight and a half years, that's why, and so this kind of storm is a rarity.

So! Update on the snow! It's up to my knees in places where it's been untouched. I think we've probably gotten about a foot and a half our area.

apparently between yesterday and today, the snow accumulation forecast for our area doubled. It hasn't started snowing yet, but they're now predicting 10-18", which for this area is possibly record breaking ( Read more... )
